...Girl - Mom and Baby are both doing fine!

Our friend Rick called us around 2:00 on Sunday afternoon and told us that our new baby had arrived. He told us that one of his cows was in labor and he was headed out to check on it. We decided to load up and go see our new baby. Andy, Hannah and Connie were spending the afternoon at our house and Connie went out to Groveland with us. When we got out to the property, our cow, Flossie, was cleaning up the afterbirth from her calf. When Rick got there we went down to the corner of the other pasture where his cow was to check on her. She was having trouble and David got to have the experience of helping to deliver a calf. We thought things were a little touch and go for a while but Rick called us after church and told us that Mom and baby were both up and walking around. Below are some pictures of the calf that David delivered.
