New Baby

Yesterday, we went out and fed our friend's cows. He had gone to Georgia and asked David to feed them but he had to work -- so we did the honors. As we were backing up to the trailer to get the feed, around the corner comes a cow and brand new baby. She is adorable. Hopefully our cow and heifer that are there will be having babies in the next few months too.

Family Gathering

Yesterday, Mom, Dad, Grace, Rachel, Jenny, Aunt Esther and I drove up to Atlanta to meet Uncle Paul, Aunt Ann, Joseph, Marile, Gabriel and Hudson. We were to meet at McDonalds so that the kids could play while we decided what we were going to do. The McDonalds we met at didn't end up having a playground so we went to another McDonalds a few miles away. Aunt Ann's brother, Harold, had come along with them and Uncle Bill and Aunt Marilyn also came and met us. We spent several hours visiting together before heading our separate ways. It was so nice to see Joseph again and finally meet Marile and the boys. Now we have see the entire family this year. Here are pictures from our day.

A Reminder of What Jesus Did For Us

A Baptist church near us recently erected this cross on their property. David did some inspections on the construction and took pictures of the surrounding area from a basket in a crane from the height of the cross piece. I took the picture of the cross at night.

Safely Back Home

Thank you to everyone who was praying for us during our trip. We had a safe trip and God really helped in the service.

Prayers are Appreciated

Please keep us in your prayers over the next two days as we travel to South Carolina for Patricia, Caroline and Anthony Bigger's viewing and memorial service and then back home again. Us Floridians aren't used to driving/traveling in winter weather.

Safe At Home With Jesus

We are so saddened by the loss of our cousin Patricia and her children Caroline and Anthony Bigger in a car accident last night. Please pray for Patricia's husband, Brent, during this time as well as Uncle David, Aunt Roberta, Julie, Sylvia and Lydia Miller and the extended Miller and Bigger families at this time. We have to remember that even though we don't understand why this happened, God has a reason for it and He will uphold us all in His arms.

Silver Springs

On Tuesday, Dec. 30, Uncle Carl, Aunt Sara, Aunt Linda, Ashley, Brittany, Grace, Jenny and I went to Silver Springs. The weather was beautiful and we had a lot of fun. Here are pictures from our trip.

Little Red Wagon

This is the Little Red Wagon that I had as a child. As we children got older, the wagon moved from our house to Grandma's house. We all played with it over there and it has been repaired several times. A few months ago, Grandma pulled it out and decided it was time to get rid of it since in was in such a bad state with cracked wheels and rust spots. Jenny convinced Grandma to sand it down and paint it up, so they did and gave it to Chastity for Christmas. Here is Chastity in the wagon at Grandma's house.

Family, Friends, Fun and Snow in Celebration

Tonight we met Andy, Hannah & Chastity, our friends, John, Courtney, Luke & Sarah, and a friend of David's from work, Bob, in Celebration for their nightly snow falls. They close off a few streets of the town and have snow falls at 6, 7, 8 and 9 pm. There are horse and wagon or carriage rides around the town and the area is all decorated nicely. We had a lot of fun and at 9:00 got to watch a small fireworks show along with the last snowfall of the night. Enjoy the pics.

Today we went out to Groveland and helped our friend Rick work with the cattle. We also moved two of our heifers from Rick's property to Andy and Hannah's house. On the way out to Groveland we saw a beautiful rainbow and rain through some rain. It misted some while we were working but cleared up and turned beautiful.

Weekend Fun!

Friday after Thanksgiving Aunt Esther, David, Grace, Jenny and I went to Hobe Sound to Doug and Crystal's house. That night we went to City Place in West Palm for snow and then went to Gander Mountain on the way back to Hobe Sound. Saturday, we went to West Palm and rode the Tri-Rail to Ft. Lauderdale and went to Sawgrass Mills Mall (a huge outlet mall). We arrived back at Summerfield around 11:45 pm Saturday evening.
