This is the wreath that I have hanging on the front door right now. I also made a wreath that has pink and purple flowers and white dogwood and lilies on it with a white bow but I forgot to take a picture of it. I'll have to post it later.

Urgent Prayer Request

Urgent prayer is needed for Bud Holliday and the Holliday family. Bud has been in the hospital for over a week. He started out with a blood infection that they didn't know the cause of. They finally figured out the cause and were starting to treat it, but he now has pneumonia and is comatose. Pray for his spiritual condition first and foremost and then if the Lord wills -- for healing. His parents have been praying that God would do whatever it takes to get him and the other unsaved children back to God.

News Flash!!

The big news in our family right now is that I am going to be an Aunt!!! Andy & Hannah let us know the Sunday before Christmas by giving Mom & Dad an ornament that said "Grand-Parents-to-be!! We are all very excited.

Christmas at Aunt Esther's

After spending time at Andy & Hannah's on Christmas morning we all went up to Aunt Esther's house for Christmas dinner. Grandpa and Grandma Ruth were up from Hobe Sound, too.

Christmas Program 2007

Last night was our Christmas Program entitled Jesus, the Reason for the Season. The opening scene was a shopping scene with a "Salvation Army bellringer" (Rachel) and shoppers rushing too and fro. An "older gentleman" (David) is watching the scene and commenting on how things have changed to his "grandson" (one of the students in Grace's Sunday School class). David finally sat everyone down and tells them the reason for the season by singing C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S. Then through scripture and songs we told how Jesus, The Reason For the Season in the following ways: JESUS - The Gift of God JESUS - The Son of God JESUS - The Suffering Savior JESUS - The Risen Lord JESUS - The Good Shepherd JESUS - The Christian's Friend And Guide JESUS - Our Coming King
